Maxons Bonfire Toffee is a traditional Treacle boiled sweet that has been being made ever since Maxons first started making boiled sweets in the 1920s. A traditional favourite in the north of England for Bonfire Night and through the winter nights. A great warming, traditional treat that has a "smokey" treacle taste.
This jar is sold all year round as wrapped Bonfire Toffee as the product does have a tendency to go "sticky" when it is packed in its unwrapped form and stored for too long. However, watch out around Bonfire Night as the traditional unwrapped "Broken" Bonfire version will no doubt appear on the site
Packed as you would find in an old fashioned sweet shop in a 2.27kg PET jar.
