Dixons Liquorice & Blackcurrants are a traditional sweet made with a liquorice toffee centre. Hand made to the original reciped this has been a firm favourite in the sweet shops of South Yorkshire and across the UK for 100 years.
All Dixons Sweets are made by hand using an old-fashioned batch production model. Flavours and colours are added by skilled sugar boilers before “turning in” on a cooling slab and the designs created and put together by hand. Due to this process, there may be variations in colour and flavour strength from batch to batch, and sometimes within the batch itself. However, all are organoleptically tested by our staff in packing to make sure they are of the highest standard.
