One of Henry Dixons original sweets dating back to the late 1800s. Dixons Cherry Balsams are a herbal cough sweet perfect for the cold days and sore throats. Originally made and sold in Henry Dixons own shops in Sheffield, they spread across Yorkshire and now the UK as a great sweet for the winter.A best seller, especially in the winter months.
All Dixons Sweets are made by hand using an old-fashioned batch production model. Flavours and colours are added by skilled sugar boilers before “turning in” on a cooling slab and the designs created and put together by hand. Due to this process, there may be variations in colour and flavour strength from batch to batch, and sometimes within the batch itself. However, all are organoleptically tested by our staff in packing to make sure they are of the highest standard.
Packed as you would find in an old fashioned sweet shop in a 2.27kg PET jar.
